Digital Shogunate
A live platform running Bushido Passport end to end. It exists so that licensees can evaluate a working system rather than a specification.
Why it exists
Credential infrastructure is difficult to evaluate on paper. Digital Shogunate is our answer to that: a real platform, with real users, where every part of the Passport is exercised in production — identity, achievements, progression, clans, wallet integration and settlement across multiple networks.
When a prospective licensee asks how something behaves, we can show them rather than describe it. When we change the Passport, Digital Shogunate is where it has to work first.
What it demonstrates
- Identity
Account creation, embedded wallet provisioning, and a persistent profile that carries achievements and holdings.
- Achievement
A full progression model — ranks, titles, badges and standing — issued and read through the Passport.
- Social structure
Clans, roles and shared activity, showing how credentials behave when identity is collective as well as individual.
- Multi-chain settlement
Transactions settling in the base tokens of supported networks, with the settlement layer kept out of the user's way.
- Marketplace
Asset listing and transfer with provenance preserved through the Passport rather than the storefront.
How we treat it
Digital Shogunate is a reference implementation and a proving ground. It is measured on integration depth, uptime and how well it demonstrates the Passport to prospective licensees — not on user numbers. That distinction is deliberate: it exists to make the product legible, and it is funded accordingly.
